It was a privilege to be a guardian for Ruby and Pickles. Ruby was full of personality right from the start—playful, confident, independent and always keen to make new doggy friends. Pickles was a little more reserved at first, but with Ruby by his side, his gentle and affectionate nature soon began to shine.Both dogs absolutely loved being outdoors, with the beach being a particular favourite—watching them run after balls, play, and explore together was a joy.Justin and Sue are not only incredibly caring dog owners, but also ethical breeders who are clearly passionate about the wellbeing and happiness of their dogs. It shows in how healthy and loving Ruby and Pickles are. I raised some concerns with regards to a skin issue Pickles seemed to develop and they were quick to respond with advice and solutions. They continually checked in with me to ensure Pickles was improving.Being trusted to look after them was such a rewarding experience, and I feel lucky to have played a small part in their doggy lives.

Winnie we got Winnie at 9 weeks from Country style daschunds.. Justin Sue and Lauren were brilliant. as soon as Winnie was born into the litter they were in contact, sent us lots of photos of her and some really useful information about the first days, weeks and months..
the fact that Winnie is a happy, confident and super smart dog highlights the quality of the breeder. in only a matter of days, Winnie is sleeping well, mostly outside toilet

Superb breeders When we decided to get a miniature dachshund puppy we did our homework in looking for the breeders who would bring our new puppy into the world and look after her for her first 8 weeks. Miniature Longhaired Dachshund Pup Justin was warm and informative from our first phone call. Best decision ever First time dog buyers and Justin and Sue were amazing. Very supportive and knowledgeable. We looked at loads of breeders, but seeing what these guys offerer turned it into a no brainer for us.
They sent us ‘pup dates’ with photos and videos of our puppy, and sent us away with info on how to look after him, as well as some toys, food and blanket. Since we’ve had him, he’s been the most confident little boy. At only 8 weeks old, he’s met over 30 new people at family events over summer and two new dogs, and people have commented about how confident he Is and the fact he doesn’t cry. He’s ridiculously loving and playful, loves to fall asleep in our arms and after just a few days, he’s doing really well with his training. If you want a confident pup who is loved and looked after from birth, contact these guys. The pups all live in their house with them (as I saw when I collected the dog), which was nice to know as many other breeders just stick them somewhere outside with a heat lamp. They’re all clearly very loved and they’re brought up to be adventurous and confident, as we’ve learnt from just one week. He’s a really special pup, can’t imagine life without him already. If I could attach photos of the little Arlo I would as he’s amazing.

Beautiful dogs! It has been a dream of mine for many years to have my own Dachshunds and Justin and Sue were able to make my dream come true! 007 Mr Pickles & Country Style We spent the best part of a year researching Stud dogs for health and compatibility for our darling dog Luna. She is Isabella dapple and we wanted to make sure we only had a litter of the best Isabella’s possible.
We found Justin and Sue of Country Style and of course 007 Mr Pickles. It has been an absolute joy and pleasure from first meeting and the whole process has been made so easy and comfortable throughout.
It was our first time breeding and Country Style have been with us throughout the stud process, pregnancy, KC registration help and advice and of course guidance for our Luna’s pregnancy and birth and beyond!
We were gifted with 7 gorgeous healthy puppies, our Luna was amazing and the gorgeous Mr Pickles genes are strong and very present in the beautiful puppies.
All have gone onto their new homes bar our favourite and we will be staying with Country Style for the future litters we would like to have when the time is right.

Cocker puppy Just bought a cocker pup from Justin and Sue. They very kindly let me visit the litter at short notice prior to purchase (at 6 weeks old) and the sale was quick and easy. They both clearly have a passion for their Dachshunds and the breed.

Absolutely wonderful breeders! We collected our puppy last weekend from Justin and Sue. We cannot recommend them highly enough! Our puppy is so happy and confident and has clearly had the best start possible with them. Their love for all of their dogs is so clear to see. The process from start to finish was fabulous. We used one of CountryStyle Dachsunds a few years ago. The stud dog was pristine and very high quality. From the moment i spoke to Justin about the cockapoi pups, i knew id be buying one from him. He gave me so much information and answered all my questions. We arranged a mutually convenient time to view the pups and i was instantly smitten. He and Sue clearly have a great love for dogs. Sue put my mind at reat as id had a bad experience just before finding them. All the pups were stunning as were the parents. A group chat was created and Sue posted weekly pupdates including videos ensuring she captured each puppy. The love for the pups was amazing. By the time we took our baby home he knew his name and was so confident. Each pup left with a blanket, food and a toy with a folder full of information. Justin was emotional when we took our baby and unfortunately Sue was unavailable. I cannot rate these breeders highly enough and would recommend to everybody. Yhey are still on the chat answering questions about the pups and i hope we can stay in touch now the babies are in tgeir forever homes. The pups are a real credit to both Sue and Justin and worth every penny.

We recently bought our cockerpoo Asha from Sue and Justin. I couldn’t recommend them enough – Asha is a beautiful little pup who came to us at 8wks old, we were regularly sent photos / videos and advice on how to bring up our new addition . Asha has clearly been really well bought up, she is a secure and loving pup who has settled in beautifully , this is testament to the care she got from Sue and Justin – they have made the whole experience brilliant

Two weeks ago Louis joined our family and I have to say I am so in love with this gorgeous little puppy and already couldn’t imagine life without him. I am so blessed to have been put in touch with Justin and Sue at Country Style Dachsunds and can’t say thank you enough to them for the time and love they have given Louis and all his siblings until they were ready to go to their forever home. At a time when it is so challenging to make regular visits Sue and Justin really made the time special by sending us regular pup dates and even now are only too happy to answer any questions we might have as new fur baby parents. Clearly they love love love their dogs and all their puppies. As a result Louis is a happy content little puppy, already really well socialized and the little touches like already knowing his name because it has been used since we decided on it is amazing🙂 very little seems to phase our little puppy. From the moment we were put in contact with Sue and Justin to collecting our Louis it has been a real pleasure. I consider Sue and Justin the perfect surrogate parents to Louis and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anybody looking for a really happy, confident and content puppy that has had the best of starts in life xxx thank you both – you are amazing and have really helped transform our lives for the even better 🙂 Jo, Andy and Louis.
